Her bonus wasn’t as high as she anticipated, she wasn’t enjoying the pharmaceutical sales life, and decided that day to apply for a job teaching English in Japan. Jessica landed a high paying job, bought a home, and was set in the American Dream life… But she wasn’t happy.Īround the time she was due for another promotion at work, she hit a wall. She traveled throughout her childhood and in school, and earned a degree in NYC before returning back to Michigan. Her first international trip was to Canada (just across the river) but nevertheless, it was the open door and introduction to travel. While former Chanel Zayday on Scream Queens is also nailing the accessories game (and making the bolo tie continue to happen), Keke does differ from her character when it comes to shoe preferences. “Or you could do it with a flannel half-tucked into high-waisted tight jeans - like you didn’t try at all.” (But really did.) I’m big on high waisted pants, whether it be the mom jean or the boyfriend jean,” she says. “ with a jean jacket with a t-shirt underneath and high-waisted jeans.

Thankfully, Keke offered a few pro-tips on how to style denim ankle boots with more denim. “I definitely rocked it a billion times.” “I’m definitely the kind of person that does denim-on-denim,” she says. We know Keke can definitely nail a full-on denim look jumpsuit, but would the addition of jean booties veer into extra territory? Nah. “So it’s kinda killing two birds with one stone. It’s just so cute and jean is really trendy,” she says. And spoiler alert: Keke cannot wait to wear a denim ankle boot from the January ShoeDazzle collection.
“Different things like that that really gives the boot time to shine,” she says. As for styling, Keke’s not so into styling booties with a dress - “I don’t want to cut my my legs off too much” - but prefers any sort of pant: high-waisted trousers, skinny jeans, mom jeans or cuffed denim.
